I have a friend traveling to vermont, I live in Texas, Does anyone know of A good beer he might could pick up for me while he is there that I cant get in Texas?
Barleywines
or
Browns
or any thing i dont care what style

These are some really decent breweries in Vermont. Not sure if you get any of these in Texas:

Long Trail
Magic Hat
Otter Creek/Wolaver's Certified Organic Ales
Rock Art

Long Trail and Magic Hat are some of my personal favs. Long Trail tends towards the basic styles but does a great job with them, while Magic Hat is really creative and has some really off the wall stuff.

McNeill's. Anything he makes. Personal faves are the Dead Horse IPA and Ruby Ale. Best to get a growler or six at the pub in Brattleboro, it's historically been a little hit-or-miss when bottled.
