Wow, sorrryyyy.
How large is Las Vegas? How many breweries?
Portland, where I live, has 53 breweries within the city limits of a city with 1 million.
I have checked out many places in the many times I've visited Las Vegas, and have been underwhelmed. The Firkin Frog was good, but we've got at least half a dozen places that good or better. I would expect more from Las Vegas' beer scene. I hope a local knows more about it than me, because I haven't beer impressed.
Big Dogs sucked, Tenaya Creek was below average, Triple 7 and Chicago Brewing Company are average, Ellis Island was bad, and Hofbrauhaus and Gordon Biersch are average chains. I have yet to check out Banger Brewing, perhaps they're better than Stone and The Bruery? Sin City was underwhelming contract brewed beer, and the Joseph James beer I've had has been average to slightly above average.
To each his own. Enjoy your local beer scene, my opinion, ridiculous as it is, is that it isn't very good at all. Perhaps we should set up a poll for HBT members?
Cheers.
