Bula Everybody,

I am writing from Fiji and just getting started, my wife bought me some basic homebrew equipent so I'd stop complaining about how bad Fiji Bitter is.

My main challenge here is going to be keeping temperatures down during fermentation. The weather is between 25-30 c and very humid. Even in the "winter" the range is 21-26 c.

If anybody had some cost effective advice for keeping temperatures down I'd be grateful. The tee-shirt method doesn't work well here because of the humidity and electricity is too expensive to use a drinks fridge or blast the AC all day.

MY intention is to initially cool the wort with frozen water bottles and then to ferment inside a stryofoam box jammed with ice packs which are regularly replaced.

Any thoughts? Vinaka
