A few month ago, I bought some O2 absorbing caps to try. I hate them. Same process as with normal caps, but probably 3 out of 10 aren't sealing leaving flat beer. In all other beers I've bottled, I can't remember a regular cap not sealing properly. Is there a trick to the O2 absorbers? I just found another 120 that I'd rather use and not chuck out, but if I can't trust them ...

Where did you buy them; what brand/distributor?

I use O2-absorbing caps exclusively. Hundreds of them, maybe thousands. Zero have ever leaked.

I just use a cheapo metal wing capper, and I lean down on it when capping.

The caps I mainly get are labeled as Brewmaster, but I've also used others.
