I brewed a new zealand pilsner a week ago, brew day went great, all numbers were on point. Then as I'm filling my fermenter I look over and see a couple packs of hops sitting on the table. They were supposed to be whirlpool hops.. CRAP!! Ok well to late so whatever, I moved on. Now should I throw them in as a dry hop or just let it go?

90% pilsner malt
7% carapils
3% biscuit

60 min pacific jade
10 min rakau and nelson
I am at about 26 ibu according to beersmith
34/70 yeast
I just finished D-rest and started dropping the temp, so should I toss some nelson in for a dry hop or let it ride? If I do dry hop, when? what temp?

I've dry hopped a bunch of pilsners, including NZ pilsners. So if you forgot your WP hops, I'd definitely dry hop. After fermentation is complete and I've done a diacetyl rest for a few days, I drop back down (5 deg/day more or less). I then dry hop when I get back to 50 for one day with a good CO2 flush, then continue down to 35ish over a few days. Usually that dry hop is around day 15, depending how aggressive my initial fermentation was. I usually keg a lager around day 20 and force carb. I hope this helps..Cheers!
