I was curious if anyone here has used the Trader Joe's Turkish Honey before? It's $6 for a pound and a half. I bought a bottle of it and the taste is amazing imo. :rockin:
My m-i-l thinks it tastes like caramel and I say it has a bit of a molasses-ish flavor to it. It is also very yellow, almost like a turmeric yellow but again it has great flavor.
Anyone ever used it for mead before? Around here a gallon of wildflower honey sells for $60 from the bee keepers and while I would love to support them if I can get 12lb of some really good tasting honey for $48 I know what one I would go w/.
