Now's the time to brew lagers for Spring. I brewed a pilsner today (mashed @ 149F for 90 minutes OG 1055) . If primary fermentation goes as expected, watch out for this stuff, Serve too much of it to your guests and your party will end up looking like the first scenes from "Das Boot". Oh boy, here we go.

agreed. We were having an unusually cold December, so I thought I would be safe to do a lager in my garage. Then as after a week, our temps are brining my garage up to 50-60* (grrrr). I may be moving the carboys outside where it's a bit chillier.

I can't wait for spring to be gulping down some smooth and hopefully clear lagers!
