Thinking of brewing an Irish Blonde; how does this recipe look? Or would it just be a British Pale Ale? The Harp clone recipes that I look at seem identical to Bohemian Pilsners.

5.85 lb 2-row
.6 lb flaked barley
.6 lb flaked oats
.6 oz Fuggles @60 / .3 oz East Kent Goldings @30 / .3 oz Williamette @ 10
Safale S-04
Cheers!

It looks tasty as it is! I don't think you're going to see much of a difference from the flaked oats. I'd go one way or another: 1.2 pounds of flaked barley, or the same amount of flaked oats, but not both. On the hopping, I'd try bittering at 60 (doesn't matter with what), and then EKG and Willamette (or Fuggle would be fine) both at 10.

Thanks! I'll probably go with the 1.2 lbs of flaked barley, Fuggles @ 60 to bitter and the EKG / Williamette @ 10. I thought that I would use the EKG more as a flavoring hop and drop it in mid-boil.
