I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this, I'm still finding my way around the forums. I pulled the lid off my fermenter, ready to bottle and saw this. Is this ok? I've only been brewing for maybe 6 months and I don't think I've seen this before. Thanks in advance!

It's definitely ok!

It looks like krausen is still on top, so I'd hold off bottling until you have taken at least two gravity readings, at least several days apart, or until it's been in the fermenter at least two weeks, or both!

Some yeast strains have krausens that never want to drop, but most often it's a sign that fermentation isn't done.
 
Thanks! It's been about two weeks and I've used this recipe before, I just haven't seen this. I'll pop the lid and airlock back on and let it sit. I'll make sure to take a couple gravity readings to double check it.
