Temperature for a lager yeast starter?

I propagate my starters at room temp, but I also crash and decant. I want maximum replication from a starter, not worried about the flavor of the beer produced in the flask.
 
I do mine at room temp. Then let sit in fridge overnight before brew day.. decant and pitch slurry
 
Room temperature. Yeast replicate better in warmer temperatures. Lager temperatures are for minimizing any off flavors such as sulfur that may remain in beer using the specific yeast.
