Hi
I want to install some new heating elements in my new kettle which im building to be a part in a HERMS brewery. The element i am looking at is this
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FREE...ating-Element-3U-Tube-Heater/32337541541.html
which specifies
Thread Diameter: 4mm/ 0.157"
Mount Thread Diameter :46mm/1.8", 58mm/ 2.3"
The problem with this is that the closest one i can find is this one which is 2 inches. My worries then become that the 0,2inch gap would be to big to use?
Does anyone have a good idea what size of fitting would work for this element?

(sorry if im posting this in the wrong section by the way)

Would probably get more hits in the electric brewing thread.

I would not buy that element, the mixed metals isn't great, and that design will be a big pain to clean.

Go with Bobby at Brew Hardware if you have any doubt about what to buy. If you're feeling adventurous, I have a link in my signature to my "budget" build that has a parts list. I bought my element from ebay for $20 and it's been working OK.

Thanks for the answers
The thing is i live in sweden so buying from the states is abit of a hassle :D or rather shipping is expensive! also means i need 220-240volt elements.
However might not be that bad for weldless TC connections will have to look into that.
I have no problems installing things in kettles however flanges etc sometimes confuse me whern there is no standard specified. But ill have a look for some proper stainless ones then and possibly some TC fittings if i find some that will fit.
