Have any of you used either Super-Kleer or DualFine (2-step) fining agents to clarify ales or lagers? It appears that these two products are essentially identical, and although they seem to be mainly popular for wine, they both claim to be usable with both wine and beer.

Kieselsol and Chitosan are the two ingredients, whereby one of these attaches to and drops out suspended negatively charged particles, and the other of these attaches to and drops out suspended positively charged particles.

One package works with 5 to 6 gallons.
