storing grains question

I am wanting to start storing my uncrushed grains in plastic buckets and would like to know if the buckets have to be white or can be colored plastic and still not damage the grain. My intuition says that colored plastic buckets should be fine but I don't know for sure and would to hear anyone's opinion.

I store all my grains in blue rubbermaid totes. No problems so far.

I would go with food grade to be on the safe side...for long term storage...get the lid with rubber seal for a tight seal...the normal ones should be fine if not storing for long periods...The Lowes food grade are only a $1 or two more
