Sorry if this has been covered -- I did a search and didn't find anything.

Anyway, I'm brewing a smoked porter and I added my specialty grains during steeping, prior to boiling and adding the malt. It looks like I've got a few floaters in the pot. Should I try to filter them out before pouring in bucket, after boiling? Is it a concern if there are a few grains in there during the boil? Any help appreciated. I've got a little over 30 min left to steep. Thanks!

I've skimmed out the floaters, but am concerned there may be more floating in the depths.

I wouldn't sweat it skim out what ya see and carry on! You will be fine !

Will do. Planning on adding jalepeno to the secondary. Hope to taste in February!
