My STC-1000 has worked flawlessly for two batches.

This morning, I bottled 10 gallons on Blonda Ale to clear the fridge for my next batch, 10 gallons of ESB.

I want to ferment at 20°C. I reset the STC-1000 to

F1 = 20.0
F2 = 0.5
F3 = 3
F4 = -0.2

The cooling light is flashing and I get no voltage across the cooling socket.

When I increase the temperature to 30°C, the heati side comes on. The light on the controller stays on, not flashing. The voltage across the heating side reads 112.

Amy ideas?

The flashing cooling light is for the compressor delay f3. its set for 3 minutes so the unit will not turn on the compressor for 3 minutes when it starts up. Its designed to keep the compressor from turning on and off to often.

Yup. I realized that just after I posted. Just went out to the garage to check and the fridge was running.

Doh!

Thanks Chris and Pratzie!
