I'm interested in starting a LHBS/Brew on Premise business, and I was wondering if any of you have experience in such a venture. I live in Manitoba, Canada. The city I am looking to open up in is 1 hour from the nearest HBS, has a population of 12 000, with a metropolitan population of 25 000. There seems to be a good market for such service, because alcohol is taxed so heavily here from the store. a 6-pack of the cheapest beer from the store is $12+. If any of you have some tips/advice for starting up such a venture (ideas for market research, finding suppliers, marketing, funding etc.), I would certainly appreciate it!
