just starting my first wine kit and don't have any of the latter, is starsan ok for the sterilizing of equipment?
Starsan instead of metabisulfate?

Yes! I started using star-san on my winemaking equipment about 5 years or so ago, and it works great!

Thank Yooper, I really wanted to get this underway today and just noticed the metabisulfate thing in the instructions.
