Hello all,

Was wondering what the total square footage required would be for a complete 2-3BBL system. Also, any rough idea on how much that would weigh?

Most of your room is going to be taken up by the fermenter space.

The brewhouse itself doesn't need to be very large....you could probably fit it in a space of about 10x20ft...though you'll need enough room to move around and put incidentels. As for weight, water weighs 8.33 lbs per gallon. you might have up to 200lbs of grain, and I'd plan on the weight of all the vessels being full of water (the 1.5 bbl brewery I help with typically has all three full at some point in the brew) so that'd be 3x3x31x8.33+200= ~2500 lbs just in water and grain.
