Hey guys,

I had a spur of the moment brew session with my available ingredients and came up with a pretty simple "Brown Ale" recipe. I say that term loosely. As, I am a pretty new brewer still and just plugged in some ingredients into brewsmith and it fell within the brown ale parameters. I am simply wondering what characteristics to expect from this brew and What should I try next time? I guess I would like this beer to eventually get to a newcastle/samuel smith nut brown status. Obviously this beer isn't it but still would like to know what to expect for this simple brew.

2.5 gallon batch - 45min boil

1lb 5oz Amber DME @ 45
1lb 5oz Dark DME @ 15
1oz Black Patent
4oz C60
.55oz Fuggles @45
.25oz Cascade @10
.5 tsp Irish Moss @10
Notty Yeast - Pitched slurry from previous batch that was bottled today.

OG 1.046

Any and all feedback/comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
