First try at a single hop IPA. Going with Comet. How does this look? Thanks!:mug:

Extract. 5 gallon batch, 2.5 gallon boil

Fermentables
6 lb Light LME
1 lb Light DME

Steeping
1 lb Crystal 30

Hops
1 oz. Comet (60 minutes)
1 oz. Comet (30 minutes)
1 oz. Comet (10 minutes)

Yeast
US-05

Looks good to me. The only thing I'd suggest is you might get more "pop" out of the hops if you move the late additions to maybe 20 and 10 or even 10 and 5.

I love Comet hops.

I made a few IPAs where I used Comet as bittering hops and I only used 45, 30 and 5 minutes additions and turned delicious.

Do dry hop and use at least 3 oz.
