Should you "de-gas" your cider

Like mead and wine? I've been doing these ciders now for a few months and just wanted to ask the pros on here if you need to de-gas the hard ciders as well? thanks in advance
 
If you want to bottle still cider you should degas.
Degassing can also accelerate clearing.

Depending on how long to let it sit, it's not necessary. It's obviously not necessary if you bottle carbonate.
