Have 2 kettles trying to get to boil finally. Been absent for a couple of weeks due to throwing blood clots to both lungs. These are 20 gal kettles and they've been on for about 90 minutes and still only at 160F. I did learn that these 2 cheap burners are not enough for the weight of 20 gal of water! Gotta learn, I guess. Hoping these things will finish up soon.

3 hours now and I can't get them over 194F. Going to need better burners before Saturday. Although I'll only be boiling 6-7 gal and not 20.

You don't need to boil a full 20 gallons to season. If you boil just a few gallons, the steam will season the rest of the surface.

I should have mentioned this: don't boil 20 gal each. Boil 10 gallons each and combine when boiling.

Assuming you are trying to boil all 20 gallons, which as was mentioned is unnecessary.
