So I was bottling my amber today and I used a screwdriver to tilt the carboy to rack to my bottling bucket. Of course, the screwdriver accidentally fell into the bottling bucket full of wort. We decided just to leave it there rather than risk further contamination. Just thought I would share this story. My amber is now apltly dubbed, "Screwbriver Amber". I'm sure the screwdriver flavor will really add to the "character" of my beer.

I hope it was a sterile screwdriver? Being that the beer was ready to bottle it most likely will not have a problem.

the cleanliness of the screwdriver is definitely in question. We'll just see what happens.
