Here is a red that I created any thing that you brew gurus would add subtract or change would be greatly appreciated.

I just want to have this turn out pretty good is all.

11# marris otter
2# crystal 80
1# toasted malt
4oz. Carared
.75oz. Nugget 60 min
.5 oz. east kent goldings 15 min
Scottish ale wyeast 1728

Please tell me what you think....ours gonna be a 5.5 gal batch

Thanks Jesse

Just looking at beersmith I would think something along the lines of 9.5# marris and 1.5# crystal will get you closer to the proper profile depending on your efficiency. And you should target about 25 Ibu and that will depend on the AA of your hops.

Recipe doesn't look bad just looks like it will overshoot gravity ibu and color of the style.

Thank you for your input...I just wanted to be sure that it would make a decent beer as far as tasting good and such.

Thanks
Jesse
