I plan to dry hop with pellet hops left over from brew day. It is one half of two different packets, which I put in a new ziploc bag and have stashed in my fridge.

Obviously the hop bag gets sanitized - but should I also somehow sanitize the pellets themselves before going into bag/fermenter?

Nope, they are naturally anti-microbial. Sanitize the hop bag, throw the hops in the bag, and set the bag o' hops in the beer.

Yeah ive never worried about sanitation with hops, even with leftover opened packets. I just have always tossed them in and never ran into issues

I use 1 gallon paint strainer bags. 1oz. hops in each sanitized bag, no weights. They absorb the wort and sink below the surface.
