Can I get some recommendations on a San Diego pub to visit for brett, sour and barrel aged type beers?

Any other recommendations for craft beer experiences that are a must-do in San Diego will also be appreciated.

As far as Pubs go I can't give any advice. Cellar 3 in Poway is Green Flash's barrel age facility where you can try all of their fun stuff and they have some of their "regular" beers and a few Alpine beers as well. If you're looking for craft beer experiences that isn't hard to find. Depends on what you're looking for. Ballast point, Alesmith, and green flash have some nice facilities pretty close together and they're surrounded by another 12 or so smaller breweries. And white labs is close by those as well which is worth a stop by.

Edit: Make sure you go to society brewing. Very cool place and great beer all around.
