Sampling Coil—OEM or Generic?

Are sampling coils pretty generic or are some brand proprietary? I have fermenters/unitanks from Spike, SS, and BrewTools and would prefer to buy one to swap as needed. Branded coils are much pricier than generics. Any differences between them? Any to avoid? TIA

I would say just make sure its a type that can accept a pigtail/proofing coil if you plan to spud or carbonate in the fermenter. Otherwise it's hard to take a sample.

I already have the sample valves, which accept a coil. I’m wondering if the coils are universal to the valves that accept them. Thanks!
