Not exactly. Scotch ale comes from Belgium. Scottish Ale comes from Scotland. They are similar in many ways, but they are differnt styles.Todd said:Is Scotch Ale the same as Scotish Ale?

The Sammy version is a Scottish Ale. One of my favotire styles. Here's a McTarnahan's clone that you might like. And you can certianly try your hand at my Scotch Ale recipe!
