S airlock with no cap

As usual, something goes missing since the last brew day.
I realized I have no cap for my s shaped airlock. I would think this would not really be an issue, but anyone have any thoughts?
 
You can always use foil for a make shift cap. I have also lost a couple of these through the years.
 
I always liked how cool the S shaped airlocks looked but when I first started brewing someone told me that the 3-piece airlocks can handle more CO2 volume. Never tested it out myself but it is worth looking into the next time you are in the market for an airlock.
