I just hope some of the plants survive. This sucks major for them. All that work on different ingredients gone just like that.

Dumb question, but since the bines are gone for the year, and the crowns will be a few feet in the ground, shouldn't there be a pretty good chance they will be fine?

I understand trellis and other structure losses, but I have hope that there bines will grow in the spring.

Plants can survive being under water for some time and can even tolerate some amount of deposits of silt but enough time under water or deep enough silt will kill them. They will just have to wait it out and see what comes up in the spring. I didn't see trellis damage from the picture shown at the linked website. The crowns should only be a few inches below the surface.
