Anyone know what beers come with a riddle under the cap. I picked up a cap a few days ago to throw away and it has a riddle on the bottom side. I think there is a claw on the top of the cap.
What other breweries do this?
I seem to remember Lone Star doing it, but haven't had that in years.
Thanks

it is a lions head cap. if i don't have any home brew on tap then i drink lions head. is it a red cap with a claw on it??

Narragansett Beer has them on the caps - either rebuses or just quotes related to New England. They were owned (or are owned) by Ballantine, and Mr. Haffenreffer was one of the founders back in the day, so that's why those brands are mentioned also by other posters. I think Falstaff had them also.
