Remove pith bitterness!?

Oh no.

I've added 4 oranges, minus the peel, to my mead in primary.

Tasted it and its drinkable but has a sour and bitterness that is very noticeable. The high alcohol content does not complement this flavor at all.

Back sweetining will happen but is there any other flavors that I can use to cover up this bitterness? Or any additions that will simmer it down?:confused:

Time will do the trick.

Its the answer no one wants to hear, or as Hootie would say:
