I am having an issue where My second ferment is quite carbonated/fizzy (when room temp). Yet, when I refrigerate, the carbonation is nearly lost or in some cases the unopened bottles have no carbonation.

My 2nd ferments are with about 10-15% mixed berries puree and 1/2 tablespoon of raw ginger.

I use the flip-top grolsh-style bottles.

Thoughts?

Cold liquids absorb more CO2 than warm liquids. Most likely your CO2 is coming out of solution more readily when the beer is warm giving you a fizzy drink when you first pour it. It's probably only lightly carbonated at this point.
How much priming sugar did you add and how long has it been in the bottle and at what temp?
