As part of my buddy's bachelor party, we took a private tour of the Red Hook Brewery in Portsmouth, NH. While we were walking through the fermentation room, I mentioned to my friend that my basement was starting to smell like the room. The tour guide heard me and said to see him at the end of the tour. I ended up walking away with about a half pound of a variety of free hops. Not exactly sure what every is but he said that it averaged about 8.5%. He also did say that they should only be used as bittering hops.
It was definitely a good time had by all.
