About two years ago there was an "incident" at my house with a leaking roof and my bottling bucket had some wet drywall and plaster tossed into it.

A few weeks later it was emptied out and it has sat unused in my basement since.

I have to do some bottling in a week or so and I'm wondering if I should give the bucket a once-over with OxyClean/PBW/Star-San or replace it.

There are no major gouges in it FWIW and I'm using it for a non-carbed but backsweetened cider.

replace it. no other option in my mind. I have a bottling bucket that has been shuttled around from house to house and unused for about a year since i bottle from my taps, I plan on replacing it if I ever need to use one again.

a bottling bucket is cheap compared to ruined batches.
