Recipe made

9 pounds MO
1.5 pounds Munich Light
.5 pounds crystal 60
1.7 oz Fuggles 60 minutes
1 oz UK Kent Goldings 30 minutes
1 oz UK Kent Goldings 3 minutes
.5 oz American Crystal hop pellets for dry hopping
S-4 yeast

Supposed to be a pale ale.

Samples taste great. OG 1.068 Have not done the FG reading yet.

What should I expect for a FG?

Thanks,

Bill

My guess is FG 1.012-1.014. But there are so many variables that I consider any target FG as just that... A target. As long as it is fully fermented I don't really fret too much if it is a little higher or lower.

Mash temperature, health of yeast, how much is pitched, aeration etc all will have a little effect on the FG.

90 minute mash and used my squirrel cage paint mixer for aeration. 1 pack s-4 rehydrated. I thought the fg would be higher due to the higher og.
