I just racked my cream ale after a week in primary onto 5 pounds of Apricot puree for secondary. I'm wondering if the sugars in the puree are going to feed that yeast and start more fermentation? I didn't set up for a blow out valve on the carboy.

Yes it will kick the fermentation back in. How bad depends on how much sugar is in the puree. and the temps. Last year I racked 2.5 G of a cream ale on 2 lb raspberry. She started bubbling again, but no blowoff. I did have her in a swamp cooler. Although I remember the environmental temps were 90's, I don't remember how well the cooler worked.
