I am having trouble connecting a RAPT pill to my wifi network. I know there is nothing wrong with the network as I have another pill which has connected successfully.

These are the steps I have taken.

  1. Connect to the RAPT wifi
  2. Selected my AP and entered password
  3. Waited for minutes on the Please wait whilst connecting to SSID.
  4. Swapped my phone back to my wifi
  5. Searched for mac address or esp32 on devices list but does not find one.
  6. Factory reset... repeated above.

Any tips?

Hi,

Please ensure that the network is set to 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz or a dual-band 5/2.4 GHz network.
The device only supports 2.4 GHz networks.
I have an additional 2.4 GHz network that specifically for devices like this one.

How old is your wifi router? Channel competition from your neighbors can sometimes be an issue. Older wifi's didn't usually have as many channels as is normal today.

You should fire off an email to Kegland. The the two or three I sent them were answered in 48hours or less. They do sometimes respond in this forum.
