I was wondering if it possible to wire the ranco etc with an on-off-on switch.
my goal is to power the controller as well as bypass the controller and feed power to my selenoid valve. This would make my valve auto or manual. Is it ok to send power to the load output on the relay of the controller when switched to manual?

when the switch is on manual the power is sent directly to the solenoid valve through the same power feed that is wired to the controllers(ranco) relay output. Was wondering if this will hurt the Controller?

I also would like to know how to wire this....

Scenario - I would like to use a 3 way switch to control an asco valve. "Off, Auto, ON"

In the "auto" position, my PID would control power to the valve. In the "on" position, the valve would always have power.

Can anyone provide a wiring diagram for this?

Thanks
