Ranco 11100 on a 30A circuit?

It says its 240V compatible but these are the resistive specs-
Contact Ratings 240v: 8.0 AFL
48.0 ALR
Resistive: 15 A
8 A

I dont know what the first two numbers mean but I'm assuming I cant use this on a 30A circuit without frying it... im using a single 5500w heating element just to get my liquor water up to temp.... idk help!
 
You're totally right. I needed to pick up something called a wall wert. One circuit goes to the ranco, while the other goes to the heating element. I can post more about it if theres interest...

There's something else, rather ubiquitous, called a relay that might also be useful.
