I keg my beer so I have no use for the priming sugar included with most kits. Can I just throw it in the boil to up the gravity a bit? If so how will it affect the flavor? Am I better off just chunking it?

Yes you can. Works well with beers that you'd like to be a bit stronger and dry. I usually add some dextrose to my IPAs.

In relatively small quantities, yes you can. I would suggest no ore than 10% of your grain bill, maximum. Too much sugar can make the beer cidery, it will also dry the beer out making it thinner, and in larger quantities it can produce some nasty phenols.

You're only talking about the priming sugar in the kit, toss it in the boil. It's really such a small amount, you won't have any off flavors from it and it's really not going to give you much of any gravity points.

Toss it in or keep it and use it in some cider.

Everyone who bottles uses it. What is the difference?

Toss it in.
