Hi All,
I will be bottling my first lager tomorrow and had a question. Does it matter what temp my beer is when I prime and bottle? Right now it is sitting around 4.8*C which is what it has been lagering at. My plan is to just prime and bottle it at that temp and then stick it in the closet and let it come up to room temperature in the bottle as it conditions. Does this sound ok? Any reason not to do it this way?

You should be fine letting it come up to room temp naturally. But u wanna bring the temp up to 72 and let it sit there for a few weeks. The longer the better but i'd wait at least three before cracking on. Thats the hard part. Waiting.
