I like to use a soda bottle yeast brink for short term yeast storage. After filling my keg, I swirl up the small amount of remaining beer and all the yeast and counterpressure fill a sanitized and purged 2 liter bottle. I put this in the fridge with my now freed up spunding valve and slowly drop the pressure until the next brew day. This has been a very elegant no oxygen yeast storage solution for me.
Cheers!
