Picked up an Update International 10g pot at a small local supplier. Never thought to leak test the pot before I put holes in it. Doh! No chance of returning it now. I guess some food grade silicone is in order unless someone has a better idea.

Lesson: Test toys before tinkering with them.

put one ball peen hammer on one side of the rivet and whack the other side hard with another ball peen hammer.

Thanks for the ideas. Still can't believe I can't get it warrantied. The fact that I want to buy two more pots doesn't seem to gain interest. Oh well. Bayou Classic next I guess.
