Hi, I have a party coming in a few weeks. We will be outdoor and I want to bring a keg (cornelius). I was thinking about an inflatable "jacket" that could go around the keg that I would fill with ice in order to keep the beer cold.

Did any of you know where I can get that or if there are any other better (and cheap :ban:) solution!

Thanks!

I use a 15 gallon lme carboy (free from lhbs). I cut the top off and drilled 2 holes on each side and made rope handles to carry it. It's the perfect size for a corny keg.

Any 5-8 gallon bucket will work just fine. Remember that the beer is dispensing from the bottom so that's the most important part to keep cold.

I use an inexpensive kitchen-style plastic trash bin (I think they're 20 gallon?) which holds a single corny with plenty of room for ice.
I'll wrap the whole thing in a sleeping bag if the day is particularly hot...

Cheers!
