Just got a pound of Polaris hops from a friend, not much info about them out there. Wanted to go for a nice session PA.

Target IBUs at 35.

Anyone have any experience with Polaris? Mixed the hops before hand and they smelled great. Interesting mint from the polaris with the dankness from columbus.

Will update with tasting notes.

Ended up fermenting with Nottingham. What I noticed from Polaris was a nice clean bitterness that almost had a menthol dryness to it. Dry hopped as well with Polaris but not much of a noticeable aroma. Aroma and flavor are outstanding like the combo with Columbus. Will definitely use polaris when I'm looking for clean bitterness but not so much on the aroma front.
