Have been brewing for a while now but this is my first crack at formulating my own recipe (after looking at lots of the beers I've brewed so far, as well as some recipes on HBT, of course). Any thoughts/suggestions?
Amarillo IPA
vol: 5.5 gallons
yeast: US-05
Partial Mash (152F, 1.25qts/lb, 60 mins):
- 2lb 2-Row Pale Malt
- 1lb Vienna Malt
- 12oz Crystal Malt (20L)
Extract: 7lb Golden Light LME
Boil:
- 60 min: 1 oz Centennial
- 15 min: 1.5 oz Amarillo
- 10 min: 1 oz Amarillo
- 5 min: 1 oz Amarillo, 1 tab Whirlfloc
- flameout: 1 oz Amarillo
- dry hop (5 days): 2 oz Amarillo
