So I did a preview on an auction today and saw something that caught my eye: a twin tower with 10 Perlick faucets! So, I'm interested.

Then I saw this regulator system!

So now I'm really interested! I talked to the staff, and they said that the whole pallet was being auctioned off together. This is no bueno!

All in all, there are four 10 tap towers, two 4 tap towers, four 4 guage regulators, and two 2 guage regulators. There are locking covers for them, probably without the keys, and a bunch of other unidentified stuff on the pallet.

So this is pure excess now. I doubt there will be anybody there interested in this stuff, as it is not the normal game of the auction house. That said, how much is this crap worth? I just want four faucets and a gas panel for my TDD-2. I would be selling the rest here on the market to break even, so I don't want to go in too deep.

Thoughts?

You'd be better off just buying exactly what you want and not wasting your time and money on all the superfluous stuff. Besides, for what you'd pay for all that stuff, you can probably get a pretty nice 4 tap commercial grade kegerator.

Well, I already have the 4 tap commercial kegerator, but with crappy faucets and a less than stellar gas system.

A 4 way panel regulator is easily $400. So if I were to snag the stash for around that number, I could sell off the remaining bits and break even I suppose. That's where this is going.

Victory!

Reelale and I were tracking the same auction. He won the lot, and will be parting it out. I got exactly what I wanted from the lot, and nothing more to deal with. A win for me, a win for him. Hit him up in the classifieds because he's about to be moving a lot of Perlick 425s and panel regulators.
