Hi! I have these two pumps:

I'm looking to do something like this with my pumps:

EXCEPT:

-I want the DC adapter to be secured in the pump housing
-I want to integrate a power switch with a LED light to indicate it's on.

Can someone point me to the correct equipment for this?

I can't really decide whether I want to use a 110V switch or 12/24V switch. The power adapters I have are 12V for the one pump and 24V for the other. I could either break the circuit between the house power and DC adapter with a 110V button/switch, or between the DC adpater and pump with a 12 or 24V button/switch. I can't seem to find 24v switches on amazon; they're all AC switches with built-in 24V LED indicator lights.

Thoughts?

Right now my bill of materials looks like (for each pump):

-project box
-NPT or BSP lock nut x2 (one pump is BSP the other NPT)
-some kind of gland or something like that to provide a water-tight fit for the 110V AC power cord coming out of the box. Guess I could use a glue gun if I needed to to make it cheaper.
-some kind of switch or push button; one with 12V LED indicator, one with 24V LED indicator

I guess my electrical will be: AC -> switch -> DC adapter -> pump AND switch LED (in parallel).

Comments? I'm really not the electrical type. Anyone have an amazon link to a cheap LED switch I can use?
