I decanted my starter last night, just pulled out the yeast slurry to find it was almost frozen. Decanted I was at 1200ml. So I just added 500ml of fresh starter, make sure I have some viable yeast going. As of right now I'm boiling. How long should I give the starter before I pitch it? Was thinking 4-6 hours? It's a hefeweizen yeast strain.
